Founded in 1955 by R.L. Estes, the office furniture business and later the flooring business has never been the same in North Mississippi. The name R.L. Estes became synonymous with office furniture. Later, in 1986 with the help of Butch Simmons, the company expanded into the flooring business. House of Carpet has been a fixture on East Main Street fulfilling all the flooring needs for customers in North Mississippi.
